Project Experience

AMR Robot (Solar Ants)

#ROS, Rpi, Control, Design

  • Built an AMR robot that was designed to assist in cleaning solar panels.
  • Implemented control mechanisms for motors and integrated lane detection to enable autonomous navigation.
  • Utilized ROS with Rpi and Mbed to integrate the different sensors.

Digital Manufacturing

#Blender, CAD, 3D printing

  • Utilized different CAD software by Python to achieve user-specific parameter design.
  • Implemented Blender to design the lamp shape inspired by Taipei 101 with a Chinese dragon.
  • Experienced in various additive manufacturing processes with algorithmic design.

Autonomous Fan-powered Robot

#Arduino, CAD, CFD, IR sensor, Control

  • Created a fan-powered self-driving car with four teammates to complete all tasks.
  • Designed the car by SOLIDWORKS and then built it with 3D printer and laser cutting.
  • Implemented CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis by Ansys to calculate thrust generated.

AWS-Deepracer Developing

#ROS2, AWS, Lidar, Control

  • Collaborated with PhD senior and conducted extensive experiments using AWS DeepRacer.
  • Set up the ROS2 system on Deeprace and achieve remote control.
  • Collected motors’ and Lidar’s data for future autonomous control applications.
