With a robust education from National Taiwan University, Ray established a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering fundamentals. As an undergraduate research assistant for the last three semesters, he not only acquired practical experience in robotics but also learned effective collaboration with peers and seniors.
While pursuing his master degree at Columbia University, he honed his skills comprehensively, focusing on digital manufacturing, advanced control theory, and signal processing. Additionally, his role as a graduate research assistant provided him with valuable experience in project leadership, strategic planning, and delivering compelling presentations.

As a member of Professor Kang Li’s lab at NTU, I developed a keen interest in robot design and gained an understanding of the challenges involved in bridging the gap between ideal designs and real-world products. AWS – Deepracer
As a participant in the DitecT lab led by Professor Sharon Di, I applied robotics skills to AWS Deepracer projects. I successfully utilized ROS2 with a joystick to develop a robust remote control structure for Deepracer. Additionally, I collected data on motors and LIDAR to achieve higher-level control for future applications.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company
Upon joining a prestigious semiconductor company, I gained knowledge of CVD tools and hands-on experience in the fab. During the project, I applied my understanding of fluid mechanics and CFD to optimize the steps in leveling calibration.
